Press Release

LAHS Offers Guardian Angel Program

The Lisbon Area Health Services Foundation is pleased to present the Guardian Angel Program at Lisbon Area Health Services. The program allows grateful patients, their families, and friends the opportunity to support patient services and programs at Lisbon Area Health Services while recognizing the extraordinary care received from a Lisbon Area Health Services “Guardian Angel”.

Patients, their families and friends now have the opportunity to make a donation in any amount to the Lisbon Area Health Services Foundation in honor of a physician, nurse, nurse aide, housekeeper, or other caregiver. The caregiver or “Guardian Angel” will be presented with a recognition letter and a Guardian Angel lapel pin to wear with pride. Once the caregiver has been recognized ten times; he/she will receive a special gold Guardian Angel lapel pin.

Look for the Guardian Angel symbol at Lisbon Area Health Services. You could be someone’s Guardian Angel!

Your Donations Make a Difference!

As the year quickly comes to a close, it becomes a time for reflection.

A time to reflect on the blessings we have received throughout the year and for those less fortunate, who can often be our family, friends or neighbors. As you think about your charitable giving, please include Lisbon Area Health Services in your plans. Since the founding of Lisbon Area Health Services in 1952, we have relied on philanthropy to fund our mission.

Today, Lisbon Area Health Services Foundation is the professional fundraising organization supporting the Hospital’s mission. It was 60 years ago when a committed group of people saw the need to start a hospital in Lisbon. It was this commitment and pioneering spirit that served as the foundation upon which the hospital would be built.

Today, the Critical Access 25-bed, non-profit hospital is a Catholic health care facility that cares for patients and is committed to serving them with high quality care. The hospital provides a tradition of caring that includes compassionate caregivers, stellar clinical expertise and the most advanced technology available. Through your donations, Lisbon Area Health Services provides care for the most vulnerable members of our community.

Please join us in supporting the mission of Lisbon Area Health Services. Your contributions make a difference in the lives of our patients. Please consider making a secure online donation at www.lisbonhospital.com you reflect on the many blessings bestowed upon you, your family and those you love.
